Mr. Handerhan has over twenty years experience as a general contractor specializing in commercial and residential contracting, coatings industry, residential and historic rehabilitation contracting. Since 1996 Mr. Handerhan has been a DHS certified Inspector/ Risk Assessor, Project Monitor/Supervisor, and is also a Certified Asbestos Supervisor. Mr. Handerhan’s extensive background in lead-based paint and asbestos inspections, report generation, abatement project monitoring, clearance testing and project design has produced quality results for many of our clients. Using these detailed reports, Mr. Handerhan has applied his many years of experience with substrate inspection and coatings knowledge to design the most cost efficient methods of dealing with lead-based paint and asbestos hazards for the clients’ subsequent use in construction, maintenance, or abatement activities. Mr. Handerhan’s education in the use of encapsulants, component removal, chemical paint stripping, and component replacement have also aided our clients in designing the most cost efficient methods for completing projects where hazardous materials and salvage of historic components are of a concern. Mr. Handerhan has supervised large crews on many residential, commercial, and industrial projects in construction, demolition, salvage, cataloging, restoration, lead-based paint and asbestos abatement, encapsulation, component removal, including coatings application providing the clients with the highest quality finish product in compliance with all statutory regulations regarding lead-based paint and asbestos hazards.
