Channel Coast Corporation has been performing a full ground up re-construction of the Former Defense Wall at El Presidio de Santa Barbara. Work has been performed in Phases as grant money and donations are collected by the client, currently project is complete. Work includes excavation and placing of new Concrete Caissons, Columns, Bond Beams and Structural Steel to meet current earthquake requirements. Installation of new Santa Barbara Stone footings, then manufacture and installation of 4’ thick Adobe walls which hide Structural Steel and Concrete. Installation of hand formed Clay Roof Tiles to match surrounding building design and size.
